LMUG-talk – LMUG's mailing list

LMUG maintains an email-based mailing list, LMUG-talk, as a forum for Mac enthusiasts to exchange information. By subscribing you will have access, via email, to a wide range of knowledgeable Mac users. The list is particularly useful for problem solving. Additionally, if you are on the brink of buying new equipment or software, it is a good starting point for tapping into other people's experiences. Whatever your question, someone on lmug-talk is likely to have an answer.

Subscriber options

Once you have joined there are three options for viewing messages sent to the list. You may choose to:

Receive messages as soon as they are posted to the list - this is the standard setting. If you change to a different way of sending email and wish to switch back to receiving messages send an email to: lmug-talk-normal@yahoogroups.com.

Receive a daily digest of postings by email. This means you receive 25 messages at a time (per email). This usually works out to one email a day. Send an email to lmug-talk-digest@yahoogroups.com to activate this.

Receive no direct emails (web access only). This stops emails from being sent to you, however if you have a Yahoo account (free registration), you may read and respond to messages on Yahoo's Group page for LMUG-Talk. The group page also allows you to configure all the options seen here. Send an email to lmug-talk-nomail@yahoogroups.com to stop emails being sent to you - especially if you go on holiday and set an out-of-office message to be sent back for all emails you receive!

Cancel your subscription... Sorry to see you go...but it's easy! Just send an email to: lmug-talk-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.
