As you may have noticed, LMUG last month moved its meeting venue at very short notice. We were fortunate enough to be offered free meeting space at Tiger Tiger, but we were not told of closure for refurbishment. Only when we had no response to our booking for the September Special event did we investigate and find out. On returning to the venue, the AV facilities needed for our meetings were no longer there.

We have now found a new venue in the convivial surroundings of the Sun Tavern at Covent Garden. This was a success for a special event in September, but much less so for our October meeting – when we were unable to secure the whole room and use of the sound system. We would like to express our apologies to those who could not hear everything that was going on.

We need the whole space to provide, and are negotiating with the pub manager to secure that for the months ahead. Failing that, we are also researching alternative venues.

For Christmas, we have booked the first floor, and free food for all members of LMUG. Please feel free to come along, we will have access to the full sound system of the upstairs bar for the annual LMUG Christmas quiz.

Dates for 2016 are the second Monday of every month at 7pm. Venue to be confirmed.
